HELP ME! I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!?

I am 15, the sport of airsoft have always interest me. i ,however, am not allowed to have one of these guns because airsoft is too realistic. that and my parents think i'm kinda weird for liking guns. (they saw me playing Call of Duty Black ops - Nazi Zombies) they also said they don't want me to get shot by someone with a real gun on the street. i have done hours of research on safety and laws regarding the airsoft guns as well as understand that they should be treated as if they were the real thing. i have even written papers and a large power point (32 slides) about safety precautions and why i deserve to get one. yet the answer remains a blunt no. can anyone help me by suggesting what i should do? all answers are appreciated.
