How do I save facebook chat or status conversations so it looks like a photo?

What you want to do is called a screenshot. Just hit the 'print screen' button at the top right of your keyboard. Then go into MS Paint and hit CTRL+V (Paste). Then you can edit the image and save it as whatever image file you want (.gif is fine), and upload it to whatever website you want! Don't get too crazy now!
