Religion discussion leads to our 1st argument. Your thoughts would be helpful plz.?

I was chatting with my gf about the guy who said the world would be ending. We both agreed it was a hoax to begin with. Obviously true or I wouldn't be sitting here writing this. I am a mormon and she is christian baptist. It has never bothered us and we discuss openly. I made the statement that "those who go to church have religion and those who dont have none. I stated that beliefs are worldwide. Religion is not." She disagrees with me. I told her that I didnt care if it was a belief or a religion and that I was not the one persecuting her come final judgement day. Things did not go very well. She argues that if there is only one God then why would she be treated any different come judgement day. We both feel unsettled and we ended our discussion for the night. How do we get through this?
