Why do i feel unsettled and not at home ?

Simple answer. You have lived here before and died, then asked your mentor to come back so you could try again. This happens to us all. The problem you have is that your soul memory wasn't completely wiped clean so in the back of your mind you know there is more to what you have now. At 18 you are about mature enough to go it alone. Follow your instinct and you'll have a ball. Good luck.
